Whole grain is a cereal, is a cereal grain that contains the germ, endosperm and bran, in contrast to refined grains, which retain only the endosperm. It contains lipids and steroids that helps to re-fertilize our cells, as those in the Tired and Sick stages losses 10,000 cells daily, so with whole grains, this dead cells are being re-fertilized.
Consumption of whole grain as been consistently linked with a significant reduction in risk factor in cardiovascular disease.

We have 3 major source whole grain Nigeria; 1. Wheat meal, 2.Soya Milk or Beans and 3. Offada Rice ( Local rice). We 're advised to take take 50% of whole grain daily, for us stay healthy, wealthy and wise.
Regular whole grain consumption lowers triglyceride level which contribute to an overall 26% reduction in coronary heart diseases risk factor.

Therefore, instead of taking too much carbohydrates such as Eba, Semo or fufu, take wheat meal instead, you can also take ofada rice instead of the normal starchy one.
Don't forget, you need whole grains as part of your meal on a daily basis, in order to live a healthy-sickness free life. Especially those in the tired stage (age 26-50) and those in the sick stage (age 51 and above).
