                 HEALTH TIPS IN COLD SEASONS

Good evening to you all. Hope you are getting along well with the harmattan season. Welcome to another edition of The Ambassadors periodicals. Today we want to consider some health tips we may need to go by as result of the harmattan period.

First, we must know that every season comes with different health risks or challenges, and that these health risks can only be averted if health precautions are taken.
Moreover, this cold season may pose some health risks such as; Pneumonia (due to the heavy fog or snow depending on location), Lung Cancer (due to -heavy dust), Risk of Fire outbreak, High Electromagnetic Radiations from Gadgets, High Blood Pressure (due to blood thickness or clotting), Catarrh, Bleeding nose  e.t.c

         SOME HEALTH TIPS FOR COLD SEASONS

Some of these health tips will help you enjoy the cold season and stay healthy, wealthy and wise. They are as follows;

🔻Wear appropriate outdoor clothing, e.g warm clothing, cardigans ( at least in the mornings and evenings when the cold is at its peak) and covered clothes. This is not the period to put on fashionable sweat shirts, armless or skimpy dresses, you need to keep your body warm by covering it.

🔻Do not skip breakfast; In this cold period, lack of breakfast may make you feel dizzy, weak and sluggish.

🔻Avoid bush or refuse burning; Everything is dry in this period, you may not be able to control the fire, and this could easily become an inferno.

🔻Use lip gloss or ointments such as Robb to avoid painful lip break.

🔻Make sure you do a compulsory light exercise to enhance blood flow and avoid high blood pressure or blood clotting. Exercises such as; Long walk, fast breathing in and out for 10mins, Skipping, Dancing e.t.c but avoid swimming for now especially in the mornings and evenings.

🔻Regularly dust your home and use nose guards if
necessary when walking outside to prevent inhaling dust.
