In our last edition on The AMBASSADORS, Today, we discussed protein and various human life zones. Today, we will be looking at the next item on the world health organization food guide, which is Fruits &Vegetables' let's take off
Vegetables, in everyday usage, is any part of a plant that is consumed by humans as food as part of a savoury meal. Vegetables can be eaten either raw or cooked  and play an important role in human nutrition, being most low in fat and carbohydrate, but high in vitamins, minerals, and fiber.
Whole fruit is usually any sweet-tasting plant product, especially those associated with seeds,. It means the fleshy seed-associated structures of a plant that are sweet or sour and editable in the raw state, such as apples, oranges, grapes, strawberries, bananas, water melon, lemons, etc.
According to the world health organization, we are advice to take a minimum of 30% & Fruit & Vegetables daily. Vegetables brakes excess glucose in our body: Therefore if you want to eat RICE, EBA, SEMOVITA or any type of carbohydrate, it is advice you take it with vegetables. So by eating more vegetables, you are not in danger of Diabetes mellitus.
Also, vegetable keeps your hearth in good condition. When we say vegetables, we mean eatable and editable plants which includes fruit. W.H.O advice we take five different fruits daily, in order to stay healthy.
One may be in danger of having Arthritis (bone calcium loss disease) due to low intake of Fruit. Sometimes when you feel a persistent pain on any of your bone, most times legs or arm bones , may be a result of low calcium, eat fruit, rich in calcium such as watermelon, cucumber, garden egg, etc.
It must be noted that fruits are very important for our daily healthy living, for example, men losses calcium during ejaculation, while female losses calcium during pregnancy, menstruation and childbirth. Those involved in constant sex need much fruits and not milk and malt or tonic as it is erroneously believed.
Diabetic patients must eat or take more of fruits and vegetables more than normal food in order to reduce their sugar level. Fruits and vegetables are compulsory in your daily consumption for healthy body and strong bones.
